Fifteen Years Is Long Enough.

Every morning before the sun rises, Pervaiz Masih, his wife, and their children begin another day at a brick kiln in Pakistan.

For fifteen years, they have worked under the weight of a debt they never imagined would steal so much of their lives.

What began as a loan to pay for the birth of their children and necessary medical care became a burden they have never been able to escape.

Day after day, they mold hundreds of clay bricks by hand under the scorching sun. Despite working tirelessly, Mr. Masih earns only $3 to $5 per day. From those wages, the brick kiln deducts rent, interest, and other expenses, leaving barely enough money to feed his family. After fifteen years of hard labor, they are still trapped.
